Descripción del producto:
MCT simply stands for medium chain triglycerides, as opposed to long chain triglycerides (LCT), which are found in most foods. MCT is comprised of primarily caprylic and capric fatty acids, and is a light-yellow, inodoro, translucent liquid at room temperature. MCT oil occurs naturally in coconut oil and other foods. It has been used to add calories to infant formulas. Recently, athletes, bodybuilders, and diet gurus have jumped on the MCT bandwagon, embracing its fat burning and energy sustaining powers.
MCT Oil is often used to dissolve steroid powders,it can make better steroid oil injections than other oils. Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are triglycerides whose fatty acids have an aliphatic tail of 6-12 carbon atoms.
The fatty acids found in MCTs are called medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs). Like all triglycerides, MCTs are composed of a glycerol backbone and three fatty acids. In the case of MCTs, 2 o 3 of the fatty acid chains attached to glycerol are of medium length. Rich sources for commercial extraction of beneficial MCTs include palm kernel oil and coconut oil.
Usos del producto:
MCT oil is especially valuable from the nutritional point of view: it is taken up directly by the bloodstream and transported to the liver. because of this it is converted into energy immediately and not stored as depot fat like the long-chain triglycerides. mct oil is digested and absorbed indepently of auxiliary substances such as bile acids.
mct oil does not raise the lipid or cholesterol levels in the blood. it promotes the uptake of proteins or amino acids and various minerals such as magnesium and calcium.
